The short version.
MixBurgh is a five-day celebration of craft cocktail culture in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh Cocktail Weekend, November 6 and 7, is a citywide activation at participating bars across the city. The MixBurgh Conference, November 8 to 10 at Expansive on Liberty Avenue, opens with a welcome reception on Sunday evening, then brings two full days of education-forward programming, seminars, tastings, and panels to bartenders, bar owners, distillers, producers, writers, and serious enthusiasts. A closing event at Heinz Hall caps the conference on Tuesday, November 10.
MixBurgh is a MixBurgh Foundation event, Pittsburgh's craft cocktail co-op, produced with support from Visit Pittsburgh. The 2026 program is built around three questions: why a city building this much cocktail talent has stayed off the national map, where bartenders find genuine peer learning, and why cities fund culinary recognition but rarely the craft of the bar.
